Ramsey…

Morning… *tips cap*

Its o-so quiet in the world of arsenal this morning..

I imagine all the ladies and reporters (Mainly ladies) have flocked to the emirates to catch a glimpse of our new stud muffin (All I can do is apologise *head in hands*) Oliver Giroud..

A little bit of gossip broke yesterday afternoon that Fulham see Aaron Ramsey a replacement for Danny Murphy, who is Blackburn Rovers bound. Obviously sky sports have now picked up on it…

To be honest im not sure how I feel about.. I like him, he seems a decent bloke with great potential. Clearly been through a lot with us already considering his age, but does he have what it takes football-wise to push on to the next level ?

No doubt about it, this is going to be a huge season for his developement and his career. With Jack Wilshere hopefully coming back, his opportunities will surely be limited. Also with M’Vila possibly coming in, that would be another blow for the young Welshman. I personally would like him to him stay. Fight for his position. In my opinion, this season he could be used for squad rotation. Help bolster the cup competition squads. I find it difficult saying that because he deserves more, but he isn’t better than Arteta,Song or even Wilshere…

Its funny really, we wouldn’t even be talking about this if some plonker hadn’t made it up ;) .

But seriously – Football-wise there is something missing from his game, 90 per cent there..

He just seems 2 seconds off a pass..I don’t know about you, but I still compare our attacking midfielders performance to one of Cesc’s *holds hands up* I know, I shouldn’t. Just. He has set a very high marker for the others to try to meet…

Ramsey is better in a deeper role where he gets more time and space, but that is also his poison chalis. *Dramatic music* “Captain Cruyff turn.. is here to save the day!” All im trying to say is, A few things need ironing out of him and over time. The question is, can Aaron wait ?

Obviously last season he was under 21 so I wasn’t classed as a member of the squad. This year he will be, so that could count against him..Being british may save his graces, bolstering our numbers for the british quota.

I think over time he WILL become a more complete player – If he is willing to stay and fight. I just hope the fans don’t get on his back as they did last year…

Cheers for reading..

Be Happy
